Nomite
The NOMITE mark marks products that are suitable for people allergic to house dust mites. Because bedding filled with down and feathers is a very unfavorable environment for moisture-dependent mites due to their heat and climate conditions that are so favorable for humans (rapid heat buildup while sleeping, rapid moisture removal when ventilation).
The featherproof and downproof cover fabric provides additional protection, which counteracts the immigration of mites. Even if you are allergic to house dust or asthmatic, you do not have to sacrifice the natural sleeping comfort offered by down and feathers. This has been proven by scientific research.

ÖKO Tex Standard 100
OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is one of the world's best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances and is an independent certification system for textile products of all types. It stands for customer trust and a high level of product safety. According to a “modular principle”, all individual components and ingredients are tested before the end product is allowed to bear the STANDARD 100 label.
We are certified accordingly, which means that all components of our products meet the required criteria. In addition to upholstery and fillings, this also includes sewing thread and labels.

Bio-based
Sustainable action through the resource-saving use of natural materials.
Products certified by DIN CERTCO contain an organic content of > 85%.
The Häussling quality promise goes much further, as our bedding with certificate number 8C223 is made from materials with at least 94.8% of natural origin. Depending on the type of product, there is even a proportion of up to 99.7% of renewable raw materials in the pillows or blankets (tested sizes: 80x80 cm and 135x200 cm).
Sustainable, responsible circular economy — based on renewable resources extracted from nature.
Transparency and trust in independent certification bodies.
Biodegradable — the promise of a future worth protecting
Biodegradable bedding dissolves almost completely in the soil. Residues from dyeing or finishing processes have no negative impact on the environment.
According to the strict test requirements set by the Hohenstein Institute, at least 90% of the materials in the tested product must be decomposed in the soil in one year. After just about 7 months, around 99.8% of the down, feathers and cotton cover of the tested down comforters (size 135 x 200 cm) were almost dissolved.
Environmental compatibility is ensured by biological, pollution-free degradation.
Sustainable action, not only in the production of bedding but also in the process of its disposal, provides the basis for an environment worth protecting.
EDFA — approved testing laboratory
We are a testing laboratory recognized by the European Down and Feather Association (EDFA for short).
The Association of the European Bed Feather and Bedding Industry e.V. organizes an annual round test in which various bedding manufacturers participate, but also accredited testing laboratories. In this experiment, test material is sent to the respective companies, which is tested in the in-house testing laboratory and the final results are then sent to EDFA for evaluation. In particular, the determination of the quantitative composition of feathers and down in accordance with DIN EN 12131:2018 plays an important role in this round test.
Häußling took part in the round test again this year and is proud to present the official certificate from the Association of the European Bed Feather and Bedding Industry e.V.
